Mayer lab at Technische Universität München

From July 22nd to 24th, 2026, the Catalysis Research Center celebrated its 10th anniversary, and the MayerLab is proud to be part of this community. The anniversary was marked by the symposium “Perspectives of Catalysis Research,” bringing together the most recent and previous recipients (Frances Arnold and Tao Zhang) of TUM’s Karl Wamsler Innovation Award for Catalysis Research on the Garching campus.

Over three days, we enjoyed an exciting program of lectures covering a broad range of topics in catalysis. Just as importantly, the symposium provided a great opportunity to discover the research being carried out across the CRC community in both lectures as well as a poster session.

The MayerLab was represented with three posters by Felix, Nat, and Stefan—and Stefan’s poster was awarded a poster prize. Congratulations!
