At the beginning of April, the MayerLab grew further as Mikhail joined us for his PhD work. Mikhail did his chemistry studies at TUM, where he gained experience in synthetic organic chemistry and catalysis, and just returned from a research stay at Roche (Basel) in medicinal chemistry. He will utilize both automated physical-organic chemistry and chemical synthesis to explore the chemical spaces of biologically relevant scaffolds.
